About the artist
Cole Fox
Cole is a ceramic artist working out of a small home studio in Suwanee, Georgia. He makes functional and sculptural stoneware — vessels, bowls, and quiet glaze studies — shaped slowly on the wheel and finished by hand.
His work draws from the textures of the Georgia piedmont: clay banks, river stones, field grasses. He's interested in pieces that feel honest in the hand — weight that settles, surfaces that warm with use, glazes that read like weather rather than decoration.
Process
Wheel-thrown and hand-built stoneware, single-fired or bisque + glaze fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.
Materials
House-mixed stoneware clay; iron-red, ash, and sage matte glazes built from raw materials.
